Canon Evaluation.

My end product showcases a journey through time and how people grow older as they progress in life. I wanted to show that just because our time as people gradually gets shorter that doesn't mean the memories we have will run out. Those are timeless, the emotions we feel as people are the one thing that never changes as life goes on. I think that this would have been a good campaign for canon if i had more time to work on the details of my product.

Researching into Canon and their already existing products and adverts was important, needing to know how their marketing worked before actually starting with the project. We were quick to realise that there were a few different styles Canon wanted to showcase, tailoring to the different audiences they have as a company. Due to this we then did research into our own audience. The rationale came first, showcasing the ideas we had to our peers in order to see if they met the standard of the brief, this also helped to visualise the product we hoped to create. We then completed paperwork in order to assure our safety and the people that would've been in the photos, this was important when going forward as without these we wouldn't have been able to shoot the photos at all. Loaning out cameras was an easy task, getting to use the cameras for two days before having to return them, that gave us more than enough time to shoot the photos. After loaning out the camera i organised a schedule with my grandparents as they were the ones i would be taking photos with. We decided to take the photos in one session as they had been busy during the rest of the week.
