Production Diary
17/01/22
We began production today. I had to borrow a friends SD card as i wont be getting my own until later today. Because of this we will most likely be re taking shots tomorrow. It was nice to see how the scene would pan out however. Creating a sort of draft for the scene. Through the draft i will take note of the things i can improve on in the next takes. It wasn't as simple as it seemed going into the filming. I need to work on the communication i have with my cast, explaining the scene better to allow the filming to be fluent. I think the filming would benefit from experimenting using a tripod, just to see if it makes the filming any easier. Hopefully tomorrow will be proven less chaotic.

I had today to re film and it didn't exactly go great. I managed to get my hands on my own SD card, coming to college with every intent of finishing the filming that need to be done in order to start editing. At first everything was going great, i helped a friend with his own project and then began filming my own. My cast were together and i explained everything that they had been given on their script. We set up the green screen with the studio lighting to make it easier to edit after. However, as we started to film, one of my cast members decided to not cooperate, not taking the filming serious at all. It was awfully upsetting considering we have a deadline that our project needs to be finished by, having someone that offered themselves to being on camera decide to make the situation into a joke last minute has really gotten to me. We tried to persevere, redoing the scene multiple times before we realised their attitude towards the filming wasn't going to change no matter how hard we tried to make it work. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

Today we finished the very little bit of filming i had left to do, i had plans to re take the shots i filmed on the 19th but didn't have the chance. Because of this i have decided to work with hat i have got as of now. During the last of the filming, everything was organised, having the time and place set up so that there were no issues. We ended up using a tripod also, it made the shot a lot easier to film. This helped with the stress of the last time we filmed, having everything organised was something that ended up being awfully important in the end.
