Pre-Production (Script, Storyboard and Shooting Schedule)

Script

Going forward with my project meant that i had to create both a script and storyboard, putting together a visual and practical element towards making progress in the making of my final advertisement. Producing my script was one of the most crucial parts to the pre-production of our advertisements as it plays hand in hand with our storyboards when we eventually start to film. We had to focus on what was going to be happening in frame rather than telling a story in our script. We had to be straight up wile making sure we added as much detail as we could without going off topic or talking about camera angles. My script explains my advertisement in a very basic way, introducing my characters and the plot.

Everything that i couldn't include in my script (camera angles) was covered within the script, having the freedom to create a visual representation of what i hope to product at the end of my project.

Making sure i added in camera angles, transitions and shot types in my storyboard made it easier for me going forward with filming and editing. My storyboard acts as a reminder for the things i had in mind, like a plan of some sort.

A simple schedule to show the days i will be filming, which scenes i will be filming and who out of my cast will be needed on those days.
