Canon Production Diary.

 10/11/21

Today was the day of the shoot. I loaned out a camera this morning and made sure to check in with my grandparents to check they were still free for the photos this evening. They said they had everything ready and had been going through different photo albums they thought would work as props. After getting there a few hours later (after college) we set up how we wanted to take the photos, trying different positions and places around the living room. We tried switching sofas and using different albums but eventually we settled on the arm chair and my grandparents wedding album. Finding the right lighting was something that was proven very difficult even after changing the settings on the camera, i wonder if this could've been avoided if we had taken the photos during the day. Despite this we still took the photos. My Grandad at some point had moved his hand to be on the album and we got the idea of him seemingly pointing at the photos, i really liked this idea and i think i might use those in my end product.
